Bomburu Ella is situated on the boarder of Nuwaraeliya and badulla districts in Sri Lanka, offering a waterfall experience that might make you feel like you' re in Newzeland. The Surroundings of the waterfall are filled with lush greenery, creating a beautiful environment. To reach the waterfall, a 2km (15 minute) hike is required.

The waterfall is a collection of 10  little jungle waterfalls, as mentioned on various websites. It's important to note that camping at the site is not allowed, but visitors are welcome to have picnic in the premises .

The best part is there is no entry tickets required to see bomburu ella. Along the road, there is a mini shops owned by villagers. I recommended to trying the local delicious pol roti  with alakola curry and with a plain tea. It's a marvelous experience that adds a unique touch to your journey as a traveler.

Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic)

The Sri Dalada Maligawa is located in the kingdom of Kandy in the central Province of Sri Lanka. It holds immense importance for Buddhists due to its historical significance and the fact that it houses the relic of the tooth of the buddha. Princess Hemamali and her husband, Princess Dantha, carried Gautama Buddha’s tooth relic hidden in her hair to Sri Lanka. Additionally, the building’s structure and architecture resemble that of a royal palace.

When visiting the dalada Maligawa, foreigners are required to purchase tickets, and it is mandatory to dress modestly. If one is dressed in shorts or revealing clothing, white material sarong is provided to cover the body appropriately. Moreover, walking around Kandy Lake offer a calm and peaceful experience.

A visit to Sri Lanka would be incomplete without experiencing he spiritual and cultural richness of the Sri Dalada Maligawa
